Main characteristics of PHYSICO®

CONFIGURABILITY
PHYSICO® is an application developed WITH and FOR the Medical Physicist.
A software tailored to operators, which offers high levels of flexibility and personalization, to adapt in a perfect way to the activities and the operative workflow of each Service of Medical Physics. Thanks to the editing tools present in the application, each user can autonomously personalize their own analysis and elaboration tools, the summary reports and the statistics.
CONFORMITY
PHYSICO® has been designed on the basis of national regulations of the sector (Legislative Decrees No. 187/2000, No. 230/1995a and subsequent amendments and integrations) and of the Euratom Directive 59/2013. Further to the recent publication of Legislative Decree No. 101/2020 for the enforcement of the above mentioned Directive and for the harmonization and unification of the Italian regulations, in the month of November 2020 was released the updated version of PHYSICO®, in full receipt of the new indications of the law.
INTEGRABILITY
Through the international standards of data and images (HL7 and DICOM) or, where necessary, through custom integration methods, PHYSICO® can be directly integrated with all the other Information Systems present in the Healthcare Facility for data collection and information distribution: diagnostic modalities, RIS, PACS, Nuclear Medicine and Radiotherapy, EPR, etc.
ACCESSIBILITY
PHYSICO® is a completely web-based application, accessible from each workstation, fixed and mobile: EVERYTHING-EVERYWHERE-ALWAYS!
OPTIMIZATION
The great informational richness of the database guarantees the full availability and the immediate readiness of any information managed by the application, allowing in this way the continuous monitoring of activities and the careful analysis of the processes for the optimization of acquisition protocols and the rationalization of technical and human resources management.
SIMPLICITY
Simple and intuitive graphical interface; easy-to-learn browsing and operating mode.
REMOTE DIGITAL SIGNATURE
PHYSICO® incorporates a solution of Remote Digital Signature that allows the activation of paperless processes for all the reports and the documentation generated in the application, such as the Quality Control reports, the Equipment Register, the Radioprotection Register, the Operators’ Dosimetry Forms and the Environment Surveillance reports. To this purpose, PHYSICO® can also be integrated with other digital signature tools already in use at client Facilities.
LEGAL RETENTION
For the complete dematerialization of processes, it is possible to implement a system of Legal Retention in accordance with the law (Prime Minister’s Decree 03/12/2013) of the documents created in PHYSICO®. The service is proposed in cloud modality, outsourcing all the operational activities of storage, in order to streamline and simplify their implementation and functioning: the user doesn’t have to afford technological investments nor deal with the new organizational aspects that the storage implies. PHYSICO® can also be integrated with other legal retention applications already in use at the client facilities.
